Downloading Drivers
By clicking "Continue" on the Driver Robot Activation Complete window, Driver Robot will automatically begin downloading the required driver updates identified in the driver scan summary.
Please wait for all driver downloads to complete prior to proceeding with installation.
Installing Drivers
Once all driver downloads are complete, you are ready to install the downloaded drivers.
In order to install the downloaded driver updates, please go down the list of downloaded drivers and click the "Install" icon for EACH driver individually.

This will launch a particular driver's install program.
This manual step is necessary because each driver downloaded by Driver Robot is made by a different hardware manufacturing company.
Each hardware manufacturing company has a different idea on how a driver should be installed.
This factor therefore makes it impossible for Driver Robot to automatically install every driver after they have been downloaded.

Please click the "Install" icon for each driver individually.
When You click "Install" for a Particular Driver Update, Various Scenarios May Occur
Scenario 1: An installer may launch right away and begin installing.

The majority of drivers downloaded by Driver Robot install this easily.
Scenario 2: A folder may open, displaying a number of files.
If this happens, you must look for an .exe file, double click on this file and the installer launcher will begin.

If there is no .exe file, look for a file that ends with .inf. Right click and select "Install" from the menu that appears.
Scenario 3: Very similar to Scenario 2 except that the folder is an "Archived" or "Zipped" file.
If you have an archiver (winzip, winrar, 7-zip etc.), the file will open with that program when you click "Install" from Driver Robot.
If you get an error that you can't open the archived file, you can download 7-zip for free from www.7-zip.org.

Once the archive manager is open, you will see a list of files, just as described in Scenario 2. Run the installer as described in Scenario 2.
If the install fails, you will have to extract all the files before running the installer.
To do this, from the archive manager, select "Extract" and select a directory to temporarily store the files. Browse to that folder and run the installer again.
